Wanna One member Park Ji-hoon is totally leading the first part of this year with his recently released drama Weak Hero Class 2. Back in 2022, Weak Hero Class 1 was also loved by many. If you liked this action triller k-drama’s both seasons, then you should definitely give these dramas a try — you’ll really enjoy them. Don’t worry, there are no spoilers here!
1. Study Group
Study Group is a school action thriller drama that was released earlier this year. The drama’s main character, Yoon Ga-min (Hwang Min-hyun), is also a member of Wanna One. That means both Wanna One members are doing really well this year. Anyway, in Study Group, you’ll see how a boy struggles so hard to get good grades, but no matter how hard he tries, he’s always second to last in class. That’s why he moves to a new school in search of a study group, because in his current school, no one accepts him. But the new school is full of fighting, bullying, and students who later get admitted into a big crime agency.
At first, you’ll think he’s just an ordinary boy, but he has incredible fighting skills that will totally surprise you. Though he has it all, now he just wants to get good grades. Will Ga-min be able to form a study group in that kind of school? Can he bring back the students from the fight union? And if he does, will he achieve his dream result? 2. Moving
Moving is a drama where you’ll see some teenagers with special powers they inherited from their parents. But now, their parents are living with fake identities and trying their best to prevent their children from using their powers, because another country is searching for the teenagers to take them away. What is the relationship between that country’s team and the children? And why are the parents hiding their children? To find out, watch Moving.
3. Undercover High School
This drama’s storyline is about the search for gold. At the start, an NIS agent, Jeong Hae-seong (Seo Kang-joon), gets into trouble, and his job is at risk. To save it, he must find some gold hidden in a school. With this mission, he enters the school as a student, but faces many teenage problems he doesn’t understand. The classroom teacher, Oh Su-a (Jin Ki-joo), had already fallen for him before he even entered the school.
Will he be able to find the gold and get his job back? And what about the teacher who has fallen for him — will they fall in love? Don’t forget to let me know if you watch this or not.
4. High School Return of a Gangster
Kim Deuk-pal (Yoon Chan-young), a 47-year-old gangster with an unlikely dream of going to university, never imagined his second chance would come like this. 5. Brave Citizen
Brave Citizen is basically a movie where we see a teacher, So Shi-min (Shin Hye-sun), who has amazing fighting skills. But as a teacher, she needs to hide them. At school, she sees a group of students led by Han Su-gang (Lee Jun-young), constantly bullying and hitting others. As a teacher, she can’t report it directly to the committee. So, she decides to punish them on her own, using her fighting skills. She wears a mask and starts teaching Su-gang and his team a lesson. Will she be able to stop the bullying and turn the school back to normal?
6. Night Has Come
This drama is all about the famous Korean Mafia game. In it, students go on a school picnic, but without knowing anything, the Mafia game suddenly begins at the picnic house. They need to find the mafias — if not, innocent students will die. They don’t know what’s going on, how it started, or how it will end. At first, they don’t take it seriously, but when those who try to escape or fail to find the mafias start dying, everything changes. When will the game end? And how did they get trapped in it? Will the students survive? To find out, watch Night Has Come. I really liked that drama and hope you’ll like it too.
